Privacy policy
In short: Stampora does not collect, store, sell or share any of your information. Your PDFs, photos and stamps are processed and stored only on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
Who we are
Stampora is published by e404 Technology (“we”, “us”), developed by Sanaur Rahman. You can reach us at [email protected].
What information we collect
None. We don’t operate servers that receive data from the app, and the app doesn’t send your data to us or to anyone else. Specifically, Stampora:
- doesn’t require an account or ask for your name, email address or phone number;
- doesn’t include analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other third-party software development kits (SDKs);
- doesn’t track you across apps or websites, and doesn’t use an advertising identifier;
- doesn’t request internet access on Android, and contains no networking code on iOS.
What stays on your device
To do its job, Stampora keeps the following in the app’s private storage on your device. We can’t see it.
| Data | Why it’s there |
|---|---|
| A working copy of each PDF you import | So you can stamp it and come back later. Your original file is never modified. |
| Your stamps and their settings, and the placements on each document | So your work is saved and can be edited again. |
| Images you use to make stamps (processed with on-device background removal) | To create reusable stamp artwork. |
| Exported PDFs | Stored where you choose, or shared through the system share sheet. |
| App preferences (resolution, snapping, units, haptics) | To remember your settings. |
If you open a password-protected PDF, the password is held in memory only while the document is open. It is never saved or transmitted.
Permissions and device features
- Camera (optional). Used only when you choose Take photo to turn a stamp or a signature into artwork. On iOS the app asks for camera permission at that moment. On Android the photo is taken by your system camera app, so Stampora itself has no camera permission. The photo is processed on your device.
- Photos and files (optional). Stampora only receives the specific photos or files that you pick in the system photo picker or file picker. It does not browse your library.
- Vibration / haptics. Used for touch feedback. You can turn it off in Settings.
Sharing
We don’t share your information because we don’t have it. When you choose to share or save an exported PDF, it goes to the app or location you select (for example Mail, Files or a cloud drive). That app or service handles it under its own privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data lives on your device until you remove it. You can delete a stamp in My Stamps, delete a project in My Documents, delete all projects or clear temporary files in Settings. Uninstalling Stampora removes everything it stored. Exported PDFs that you saved elsewhere, such as in Files or Downloads, stay until you delete them.
Security
Because your content never leaves your device, it is protected by your device’s own security: the operating-system sandbox, your passcode or biometrics, and device encryption. We recommend keeping a screen lock enabled.
Children
Stampora is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, we hold no information about children either.
Your rights
Laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA give people rights to access, correct, delete or export personal data held about them, and to object to its sale or sharing. Stampora doesn’t collect or hold your personal data and doesn’t sell or share it, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. If you have a question, contact us at the address above.
International transfers
Your data doesn’t leave your device, so Stampora doesn’t transfer personal data between countries.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. If a future version of Stampora ever adds an optional online feature that handles your data (for example cloud backup), we will explain what is uploaded and ask for your consent before it is turned on.
